Y&G's Happily Ever After

“Finally!” thats what yemi said being cradled in the arms of her husband.

Watching the couple take pictures, i could feel the purity of love.

The elegance and uniqueness of Yemi and Goke’s engagement and wedding ceremonies would be on the lips of many for a long time.

The engagement ceremony was held at Grandeur event centre in
ikeja.

"Just weddings" adorned the marquee with an exquisite Arabian theme.

Red and gold drapes with accents of orange created a royal ambience.

She topped this up with cabana lounges for the friends of the couple making it easy for them to relax and mingle.

King Sunny Ade filled the atmosphere with his vintage music, keeping the guests on their feet for most of the event, while Bee Jay sax was
wonderful to watch as always, as he played his saxophone with great passion.

The event went on smoothly with our stylish bride giving us outfits to marvel at.
Unlike most engagement ceremonies, this wasn’t an event for only the elderly. The “ever rocking” friends of the couple would not be left out, as they grooved to the beats of KING SUNNY ADE.

The wedding church service took place at the Cathedral
Church, while the reception was at Habour Point.

Our Darlings!

With a Garden theme, habour point was transformed by ‘just
weddings’. The decor was simple but elegant as it took the guests to a whole
new place. It was like bringing a beautiful garden to life.

The Garden Themed Walkway

There was food by Tastee Pot, Drinks by NYBD, Dessert by ooh
Lala, cocktails by Labash and a lovely wedding cake by celebration cakes.
This time around, Shuga band entertained the guests while DJ CAISE was on the wheels of steel.

Lots of beautiful people filled up the venue and at about 8pm, the young ones took over!
DJ CAISE dished out adequate dozes of superb jams keeping the guests on their feet till about 11pm.
Most of the guests still talk about how much fun they had at this event.
It was indeed one of Zapphaire’s best.

We love the joy of weddings.

Congrats toYemi&Goke Phillips!

May it truly be a “HAPPILY EVER AFTER”
